Gite Le Vagabond is a 34 bed hostel with a busy bar attached. As the Operations Manager I amresponsible for managing staff, orders and stocktaking and general day-to-day running of theestablishment. My responsibilities include managing reservations, day to day running of the hostel and bar/restaurant, recruiting and training staff and organising events.Duties:• Inspiring bar staff to deliver prompt, friendly and efficient service at all times.• Daily Stock Control and full weekly audit.• Management of reservations, co-ordinating phone bookings with internet reservations.• Responsible for all customer service and dealing with problems promptly.• Communication with clients via telephone, email and face to face.• Organising a team of 4 permanent and also casual bar staff & supervisors.
