It has been my joy to serve students, staff, and families in public education for over 18 years.In my current role, as Director of Equity - Operations for Special School District of St. Louis County, I work with various teams to evaluate systems and redesign processes to ensure equitable opportunities for both staff and students. We strive to fulfill the district’s mission - “To support and empower students of all learning abilities to excel to their greatest potential.” Most recently, I served as the Executive Director of Human Resources for Brentwood School District and previously, a social studies teacher, assistant principal, and principal in the Ferguson-Florissant and Hazelwood School Districts. I began my educational career as a School and Community Resource Volunteer in the U.S. Peace Corps, serving 2 years in South Africa.
