Served as agency counsel making recommendations on internal policies, particularly several relating to human resources. Participated in PRC's 10-year review of the market dominant ratemaking system as established in the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act of 2006. Served as attorney and appointed public representative on rulemaking proceedings, the review of the Postal Service's annual assumed income tax on competitive products, Postal Service rate cases, Annual Compliance Determination proceedings, and other dockets. Assisted in the fulfilment of FOIA requests.

Full administrative support for two Portfolio Managers of international mutual funds and a Portfolio Specialist for the international team. Partial support for an Associate Analyst and an Associate Portfolio Manager based in Singapore. Tasks included coordination of all international travel and submission of resulting expense reports, coordination for meetings with high level management teams of companies and internal groups, calendar management for the managers and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

I ensured that a portfolio of over 1.5 million square feet of industrial and retail space ran smoothly and profitably. I supervised the Accounts Payable & Receivable functions for ten buildings in three states, created operating budgets, coordinated all capital projects and supervised all regularly scheduled and emergency repairs. Maintaining strong tenant, owner, and contractor relationships was also an important part of my job.

I gained valuable insight into best hiring practices while working at Robert Half to place qualified candidates in permanent accounting and finance positions.

What started as an administrative summer job while I was studying at the University of Maryland grew into a full-time position as a Staff Accountant working on the accounting for over 2,000 HUD-held mortgage notes and assisting in the development of computer software to translate data from HUD's proprietary accounting system into U.S. Standard General Ledger format as mandated by Congress.
