Tracks legislation and global cancer-policy issues and opportunities relevant to the NCCN mission and vision, acts as point of contact for NCCN with cancer-policy and advocacy coalitions, manages the NCCN Policy Advisory Group, and plans and implements the NCCN Policy Summit Series.

Co-authored several successful grant applications to fund the Center of Excellence. Organized county mappings, synthesize systems data, write Cross-Systems Mapping Reports and produce Center program information. Assisted U.S. Military Veterans with trauma-related disorders who are involved with the criminal justice system. Coordinated a statewide specialized police response (SPR) initiative that included Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training. Represented the Center of Excellence at regional and national conferences including the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) Annual Conference and the Forensic Rights and Treatment Conference. Trained in Questionnaire Development System (QDS) Software, Center for Mental Health Services Transformation Accountability System (TRAC), and Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS)

Recruited and mobilized over 250 volunteers for the Patrick Murphy for Congress Campaign. Responsible for managing and directing a canvassing GOTV (Get Out the Vote) field location. Helped the Murphy campaign achieve national recognition for the highest number of GOTV doors knocked.

A firsthand look at the challenges and rewards of education internationally. Awarded a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language)125 Hour Certification. Taught and organized Oral English to classes ranging from 60 to 70 Chinese students. Implemented original, triweekly, Microsoft PowerPoint lesson plans for Chinese students in grades 5, 6, 9, & 10.

Assisted with the coordination of DBH (Department of Behavior Health) activities and functions related to mentally ill individuals within the Criminal Justice System of Philadelphia. Organized city wide coalition meetings. Developed various meeting agenda’s and recorded meeting minutes. Assisted with a cross systems literature review for incarcerated individuals with mental illness. Helped develop a grant proposal for a the continuation of Philadelphia's Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) program
