Dr. Alejandro Katz, OMD., L. Ac. is a practicing acupuncturist, health leader, and president of AcuNetwork – Pain Management Center, Inc., est. 1983. With decades of proven experience, he has transformed the acupuncture field to benefit patients and acupuncturists alike. Through his work at the intersection of direct patient care and provider services, Dr. Katz has developed a network of over 40 locations throughout the state of California. AcuNetwork is known for the exceptional services surrounding patients suffering in the worker’s compensation system of CA. Dr. Katz is currently President and Medical Director of AcuNetwork – Pain Management Center, Inc., a thriving network of acupuncturists who transform patient’s lives within the complicated worker's compensation system of California. AcuNetwork – Pain Management Center, Inc. has been a preferred provider group for Kaiser Permanente and various independent physicians since 1995, for the outstanding patient and clinician experience and convenient access to high-quality acupuncture care.Dr. Alejandro Katz’s reputation far exceeds him as he received his Medical Doctor degree from the Buenos Aires University, School of Medicine in 1976 and became a Licensed Acupuncturist in Argentina in 1979. Upon his move to the United States, Dr. Katz received his Doctorate in Oriental Medicine from SAMRA University in 1983, becoming well known for his articles in The Pain Clinic Journal and Acupuncture Today. He has hosted various Spanish-language radio and television programs designed to educate the Hispanic community about improving health through alternative medicine. He currently holds a high status as a reviewer for numerous insurance companies and Expert Witness for the Acupuncture Board (State of California).
