• Design aluminum structure and equipment for Factory Automation.• Develop parts, assemblies, automation design, sheet metal design and create technical drawings of the project using SOLIDWORKS PDM and AutoCAD.• Select materials (SS400, SUS304, A5052, etc.) for product requirements.• Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer’s standards.• Design customized products for Manufacturing (DFM) & Assembly (DFA).• Responsible for the whole project including 3D modelling, assembly design drawings, detail drawings and special part drawings.• Evaluate designs for safety, reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.• Prepare bill of material (BOM) and details for Laser Marking process.• Coordinate with sales team & assembly team to meet the Customer’s requirements and product specifications.• Conduct testing, troubleshooting and check the other drafters’ design calculation & projects to ensure drawing accuracy.• Arrange the scope of work, standard drawing, submission documents and time sheet report.• Discuss with Project Manager and my team for design related issues.• Attend technical & progress meetings and follow as per meeting decision.• Provide guidance to Junior Mechanical Designers and Drafters. • Provided instruction how to create 3D models, assemblies, and drawings using SOLIDWORKS software.• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in SOLIDWORKS.• Developed component designs & documentation, including 2D drawings & cutting plan.• Checked and created GD&T, weldment, sheet metal fabrication drawing.
