I am focusing on infrastructures and regulatory practice, especially in natural gas, water & sewerage, electricity and district heating. I am also managing our office's work in IP, Pharma and Trade sectors. For years I acted as a core member of international team assisting USA and UK investors to a major Estonian railway cargo and infrastructures operator in spectre of local and international proceedings against the government which resulted in successful divestment in 2007. Foreign investment protection and interaction with regulators has remain is my core expertise ever since.In Energy sector I lead a strong cross-border team which enables us to advise on the most demanding assignments involving foreign or international element (interconnections, cross-border trade etc). I am trusted by several major energy market participants active in the Baltic Rim, from financial investors to local market leaders and Nordic gas and electricity companies. We advise on routine daily matters, but as well participate in strategic decision making (e.g. project management, advising on design and implementation of pricing principles and methodologies meeting both the requirements of sector-specific EU directives and local market, government relations and disputes with administrative procedures). I am a serial-contributor to international legal studies (e.g telecoms and EC study on e-Health) and was appointed as member of evaluation and examination committee of court bailiffs by the Minister of Justice of Estonia. I was a member of the Ethics and Methodology Committee of the Estonian Bar Association, currently serving at the Administrative Law Committee.
