From 1997 to 2008 I was a member of the AS Pöyry Entec Management Board. My tasks as the leader included among other things: marketing, handling client relationships, preparing proposals and contracts, working out and implementing corporate identity, business plans for the department and actively participating in decision making, etc. I was also responsible for quality management from 2006 to 2009.I also worked as a project manager with various Spatial and Strategic Plans:• I was involved in more than 200 different spatial plans (international co-operation projects; comprehensive plans for local rural municipalities, cities, small island and coastal areas; detail land use plans for almost all types of land use and buildings from ports, oil terminals, wind parks, industrial areas, city centers to private houses and racing tracks);• As a key expert, I was involved with more than 20 Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEA) of different Spatial Plans. • I wrote various expert opinions about plans, projects, planning disputes, etc. • I led countless amount of public meetings, workshops, etc. I have been the editor and main author of the handbook "Soovitused üldplaneeringu koostamiseks" (Guidelines for preparing the Comprehensive Plan). In connection with this a pilot project for the first Strategic Environmental Assessment in Estonia was carried out in co-operation with Finnish Ministry of Environment and Estonian Ministry of Environment. Results of the project were published: "Naissaare üldplaneering. Keskkonnamõjude hindamise aruanne" (a book about SEA results carried out during the comprehensive plan for Naissaar) Soil and Water Ltd., Finnish Ministry of Environment, Estonian Ministry of Environment, ENTEC Ltd., Helsinki-Tallinn, 1997 – my task was editing of the book and translation of the reports from Finnish.I also acted as consultant during preparation on Häädemeeste and Tõstamaa comprehensive plans.
