Responsible for overseeing performance of a portfolio of 10 NHS Foundation Trusts and maintaining relationships.Identify and escalate issues relating to financial performance and governance. Work closely with executive team to resolve issues identified.

• Responsible for risk based financial regulation of portfolio of London based housing associations with turnover c.£50m• Identify sector and organisation specific financial risks • Form and document judgement of financial viability using a range of evidence bases such as financial projections, business strategy, discussions with senior management team and knowledge of sector specific risks• Prepare and publish written report on judgement • Develop and maintain relationships with finance executives of housing associations

Review and comment on monthly financial performance of global business units. Attend monthly conference calls with business unit leaders to discuss performance against budget. Challenge business unit leaders on business plan assumptions.

Financial due diligence.Experience with a wide range of clients from Plc’s, private equity houses, retail, manufacturing and financial services. Demonstrated commercial and industry awareness. • Effectively plan and manage financial due diligence assignments (vendor and acquisition due diligence). Responsible for preparing first draft of report tailored to the specific needs of the client.• Work as part of and lead varied teams. Able to coach a junior member and review work.• Act as main client and internal point of contact throughout assignment.• International experience - five month secondment in Germany (Jan-08 to Jun-08) • NHS experience - working capital review for two acute trusts applying for Foundation Trust status. Reviewed and reported on historical financial performance and long term financial model.

Audit experience on a wide range of clients from Plc’s, manufacturing, financial services, property and retail. • Management of audits including planning, supervision and motivation of teams up to three staff, finalising accounts and producing reporting documentation.• Ability to work as part of and lead varied teams.
