● Supervision of all construction works specially interior decoration works of IDLC●Searching & Hiring of suitable office spaces for new branch opening, negotiating with land owners & conducting lease agreement & taking over the premises from the property owners●Ensuring compliances of govt. & Bangladesh Banks rules & regulations regarding construction by the consultant in the design stage by implementing building codes & providing adequate fire exits with locations & fire hydrants with locations●Invitation of tender from the enlisted contractors, evaluation of tenders submitted with the help of consultant, negotiation with the contractors if required & placing Memo for approval● Issuing work order after approval & commencement of construction works●Visiting the construction site at regular intervals along with the consultant for ensuring the construction work is done as per design & with quality construction materials ●Ensuring that adequate fire hydrants & fire exits are provided during the construction buildings/branches ●Processing of running & final bill after taking over the site from the contractor and after checking the BOQs of final bill with the consultant upon receipt of consultant’s recommendations● Installed sufficient fire extinguishers, fire detectors & fire alarm systems & fire hydrants, CCTV system, air conditioners in the office premises/buildings● Supervising the activities of junior colleagues for smooth logistic support i.e. office & printing stationeries, providing security guards, cleaners, processing of administrative costs, utility & facility services of all branches including CHO i.e. electricity, telephone, water & sewerage etc.● Selection, development & retention of vendors, cost negotiation with quality works/materials● Development of SOP & Procurement Policy for Administration department
