• Building the next generation of CMS platform of our firm which is central to its massive data operations. Responsible for designing and implementing core content access REST APIs. • Built a highly customizable content delivery system for our high-value customers and partners. The tool enables on-demand or flexible schedule based content delivery to customers in various forms. I was responsible for designing the persistence layer, Data access APIs and Core components of the system like Scheduling and pub-sub based multithreaded job processing engine.

• Worked as one of the lead engineers to rebuild Onvia’s core web platform. Designed the schema and APIs for ElasticSearch based search layer. Designed the backend for customer data and created live data migration pipeline between new and old platforms. Lead the effort of containerizing new microservices. • One of the lead engineers in successful migrating of Onvia’s core content database to MongoDB from relational database resulting in superior scalability and more than 100 times performance improvement for critical read/write operations. Designed the custom event sourcing based approach for read and write operations. Redesigned the core content access service to target the new database. I Was responsible for definfing the infrastructural needs and deployment process for the new system. • Led the massive engineering effort to implement an auto-classification system for Onvia’s highly unstructured content using in-house Ontology and natural language processing tools. Did the feasibility study for the project and worked closely with ontologists and business owners in developing the ontology and integrating it with Onvia’s content production pipeline and customer facing products.

• Led a small team to build the e-commerce platform for Onvia. The goal of the platform was to enable potentials customers to sign up for our products without needing any manual support and onboard them through a self-serving portal. The platform turned out to be a major success in driving new business for Onvia. Worked very closely with business owners in feasibly study and shaping requirements. Architected the product and developed some critical components like subscriptions, billing, payments etc. • Worked as one of the key contributors to build Onvia’s government business intelligence platform. Developed some key components for the platform including Search Service, lead generation service etc. Designed many parts of the application with ASP .Net/JQuery based front end and WCF based web services. At the latter stages of the project as a tech lead, I was responsible for overall project execution and release. • Worked as one of the key members of a small team to develop the lead notification service for government business opportunities. This was the most business-critical product for our client. Developed the search integration layer and the central controller service to monitor and co-ordinate the entire lead generation process. Also designed XSL-FO based page layouts for the lead documents which was converted into PDF or word for final delivery. • Led a small team to create SharePoint based portal for customers of our firm. It integrated with various project management tools used across the organization and provided a central location for all project metrics like current status, bug reports, change requests, timesheets, etc. Designed the whole application and developed key components like automated site provisioning system for individual customer, Integration layers with external project management tools, a custom document management system and a custom permission and role management system.
