• Developed an automated file transfer interface for importing monthly data from BP sites into the GLIMS system as a part of the continuous improvement (CI) program, therby reducing 25 hours of manual work time per month. Utilized SM VGL routines, Python's Pandas, Numpy, and Openpyxl libraries to synchronize records between the lab site & Production database, and integrating those updates through Workflows and Parsing Scripts in SampleManager.• Worked on complex SampleManager features such as Workflow creation, Parsing Scripts creation, Forms modification, Unit Addition, Explorer Folder modifications, Master Menu addition and modification as per user requirement in ThermoFisher SampleManager. • Managed the creation and deployment of Change Requests (CR) to integrate modifications into the global Production application, securing business approval from stakeholders and scheduling updates during low-traffic periods to ensure smooth integration.

• Worked as a support analyst for Global Laboratory Information Management Systems(GLIMS) project in British Petroleum (BP) for the SampleManager (SM) application, a laboratory informationmanagement system (LIMS) software developed by Thermo Fisher Scientific that helpsstreamline sample tracking, testing, data management, laboratory workflows in variousindustries.• Identified and resolved errors in file interfaces to maintain data integrity and system functionality by thoroughly troubleshooting log files. Regularly monitored and validated files containing sensitive lab data received from multiple sites to ensure accurate loading into the SampleManager application. Investigated and addressed issues within various file processing interfaces, including diagnosing errors and implementing corrective actions to prevent future discrepancies.• Resolved Service Requests, Incident Tickets, Problem Tickets raised by lab users in the ServiceNow portal related to the SampleManager application functionalities within the Service Level Agreement (SLA).• Maintained GLIMS servers on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers, including EC2 instances and S3 buckets. Troubleshooted server startups issues.• Assisted BP lab users with SampleManager application functionality by addressing queries, providing training, and implementing enhancements based on their needs.

• Managed the Publicity Team for Pragyan, the techno-management fest at NIT Trichy, by scouting event locations, conducting outreach and promotions, and overseeing and delegating tasks to coordinators to boost event visibility and attendance.

• Was a part of Pragyan, the annual International Techno-management organization of NIT, Trichy,the first student-run organization in the world and the third overall, next only to the LondonOlympics and Manchester United to get an ISO 20121:2012 certification for Sustainable EventManagement.• The worked involved extensive collection of contacts of students from other colleges throughoutSouth India to strengthen the database of Pragyan. The coordinators are required to go to collegesfor outreach and on-foots to spread the idea of Pragyan and thereby attracting crowd to come andpartake in the various events the fest has to offer.
