As an experienced finance professional, I have gained expertise across a broad range of areas including Clearing Bank operations, Corporate Banking, Capital and Derivative markets, Commodities, risk management & operations, and Business Analytics. I am a proven leader with excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills, people management and leadership abilities, and extensive experience in change management and process improvement.I currently serve as Deputy Vice President of Capital and Commodity Market Operations at IndusInd Bank. In this role, I manage the entire clearing bank operations across various exchanges, Primary Market Operations including Banker to issue and ASBA,Capital market Escrows operations, Issuing and Paying Agent Operations. My role broadly encompasses people management, MIS reporting, continuous process improvement, and the mitigation of various Operational and Legal risks. My role also involves ensuring audit and compliance with procedures laid down by SEBI as well as RBI.Over the years, I have led numerous projects that have been successfully implemented in the live environment. I have spearheaded the development of an in-house ASBA application module used for bidding applications in primary as well as secondary markets, a UPI Sponsor Bank module for IPOs, an application module used for processing of NSCCL pay-in/payout transaction through a secured financial messaging system, and a Single User Interface Application used for clearing bank operations among others.Before joining IndusInd Bank, I worked at Religare Securities Limited as a Deputy Manager, where I was responsible for Risk Management in International Commodity Arbitrage, Domestic commodities and Domestic Equity Arbitrage, and Equities. In this role, I closely monitored trades, ensured risk was well managed, monitored daily Mark to Market P/L and total P/L, managed margin requirements, and facilitated higher management with various MIS reports. I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management in 1st division with distinction (Finance) from Wigan & Leigh College and a Bachelor Of Commerce – Accounting Honors in 1st division with distinction from Utkal University.Overall, my extensive experience in various areas of finance has provided me with the necessary skills to drive change, improve processes, and build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
