During this internship, I have learned various aspects of the tire industry including, tire manufacturing, compound manufacturing, quality assurance, testing and problem solving techniques. I have contribute to an energy saving project through a energy based mixing cycle on the production. I was also responsible for analyzing the production quality of the newly introduced Banbury mixer. I also co-authored SOPs and a testing schedule for consistent quality and operational excellence.
