Key milestones from my time at university include:- DISTINCTION grade leading team of 4 on major group project focused on "Comparing Floating-point and Posit Arithmetic Hardware for Image Processing Applications on FPGA.” The objective of this project was to compare the performance of the IEEE 754 standard for floating-point arithmetic and posit arithmetic in edge detection algorithm and find, on what ground posit arithmetic is better than IEEE standard floating-point arithmetic. Used Vivado software and Verilog HDL to implement this design. We also used Python and Matlab to verify the output.- Besides passing all my subjects during Adelaide’s various lockdowns and restrictions without failing, key subject highlights include achieving a HIGH DISTINCTION for Research Methods & Statistics, and a DISTINCTION for Project Leadership & Communication, project Governance & Contracts, Principles of Communication Systems, and Project Management Fundamentals. - Balanced my studies with various jobs, including a contract role at iFox Engineering as a Trades Assistant / Engineering Technician supporting teams erect / de-erect generators, gearbox and wind turbine blades without using cranes (only with the help of pulleys).
