I was always creatively inclined and was intrigued by the origin of ideas and how my environment and thinking influenced the images I created. Since starting the MA Art Psychotherapy course and training as a Counselor on Placement as well as working with children has been an educational experience. It has allowed me to experience the various challenges and rewards while working 1:1 with a client. I have gained practical insights into the various theoretical learnings such as Transference, boundaries and working within the Inner and Outer Frames. Through supervision and personal therapy, I have had personal growth and a deeper understanding of the self which contributes significantly to my practice. I continue my work as a Freelance Graphic Designer and have enriched my portfolio and skills by working with smaller business that support various causes. With services ranging from sustainability, mental health, care centres, women empowerment charities and organisations that lead the way for the planet and people through their services. As a designer I have grown within the interactions, negotiating between the technical and empathetic skills and my work has been greatly influenced by the people I work with and design for.
