I studied how programs run by the National Institute of Food and Agriculture related to and met the goals within the Obesity Prevention Challenge Area of the 2010 Dietary Guidelines. Research was presented at Experimental Biology 2016 in San Diego, California.

I worked at an underserved Bronx public high school teaching 9th grade Algebra. I created lesson plans, individualized learning plans, and worksheets. I also worked on a team to create after school programs devoted to Algebra and Geometry.

I worked in the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. As an intern, I rotated between various sections of the department including Large Animal Imaging, Veterinary Pathology, and Rodent Clinical Care. These rotations allowed me to learn a broad range of techniques and practices involved in lab animal medicine. Additionally, I worked on a research.

I worked as a research assistant the Ittmann laboratory. This laboratory focuses on the role of Fibroblast Growth Factor on prostate cancer development. As a research assistant, I worked on improving a clinical database that provided information on prostate cancer patients. Additionally, I conducted laser capture microdissection to isolate prostate tissue.

As a teacher at Mathnasium, I worked one-on-one with students aged 6 to 18. I tutored students on a variety of topics ranging from basic addition to calculus. Additionally, I discussed with parents about their child's progress in the curriculum and future goals.
