Associate Director And Head Of Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion
CurrentHead the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) function for D.E. Shaw India offices. Responsible for firmwide DEI strategy and operations including design and implementation of strategic initiatives, applying DEI lens to relevant policies and practices, internal communication, and messaging, and driving programming in alignment with Talent, DEI strategies, and market developments. Significant responsibilities include helping leaders to be equipped and active in advancing DEI goals, mitigating bias, and supporting underrepresented groups. I am also responsible for developing metrics and measuring the impact of our DEI efforts in a rigorous, data-driven way.In my role, I also work closely with the Global Head of DEI and other firm leaders, as well as the Human Capital team and internal stakeholders, on strategic decision-making, and manage projects with teams across the firm.
