DECA is an international competitive business club prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. Our chapter boasts over 300 student members, one of the biggest in the nation. Chapter President Responsibilities: --Direct or coordinate the organization's financial or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency.--Analyze operations to evaluate performance of the organization and its staff in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change.--Direct human resources activities, including the approval of human resource plans or activities, the selection of directors or other high-level staff, or establishment and organization of major departments.--Deliver speeches, write articles, or present information at meetings or conferences to promote services, exchange ideas, or accomplish objectives.

Vice President of Internationals Responsibilities: --Organize or approve promotional campaigns including the organization of our Chapter's Internationals Competition.--Attend and participate in meetings of state-wide councils and council committees at the local level. --Make and deliver presentations to executive committees regarding policies, programs, or budgets for the upcoming quarter.

--Created bi-monthly education lessons based on different business sectors, such as Marketing, Hospitality/Tourism, Entrepreneurship, etc. --Served as a Project Manager for the team, overseeing each Competitions Educator in their lesson planning/execution.

Store Associate Responsibilities:--Greet customers entering establishments and assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.--Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas and complete other general cleaning duties, such as mopping floors and emptying trash cans.--Calculate total payments received during a time period, and reconcile this with total sales.

Ro Khanna is a progressive democrat currently serving as the Congressman for CA Dist. 17 Intern Responsibilities:—Develop expertise in subject matters related to committee assignments, such as cold-calling campaigns. Execute and analyze these assignments prior to each weekly meeting.—Perform and compile research modules on selected items, such as student voter turnout numbers in Dist. 17 —Alert constituents of Ro Khanna's campaign by way of newsletters, personal appearances at town meetings, cold calls, and door-to-door campaigning.—Serve as liaison between local high schools and the campaign manager in order to recruit more interns and set up community events.
