- 3 years of work experience as a Software Test Engineer in the Telecom Industry. Specifically, in the Rating, Charging and Billing domain.- Collaborate with stakeholders as well as the team, raising risks early on in the software development lifecycle.- Taking ownership for the quality of deliverable features and functionality.- Hands on experience in preparing Test Plan and Test Strategy.- Experience in Requirement Analysis, Test Case Design, Test Case Execution and Defect Management.- A thorough knowledge of Software Testing and Development Life Cycles in Waterfall, V-Shaped and Agile testing methodologies.- Experience in design and execution of test scripts (both manual and automation).- Keeping up to date with current technologies and innovating to help develop in house tools to aid testing- Sharing knowledge via documents, training sessions and presentations.- Performed Perl-based scripting for Test Automation.- Exposure to System integration, Onsite support and direct interaction with the customer.- Performed Acceptance testing and, Track and Analysis of bugs from customer site.
