I graduated with Masters in Cybersecurity from Drexel University in June 2020. Here is a brief summary of my profile:My graduate study focused on Compliance (HIPAA, ISO 27001, PCI DSS), Vulnerability Management, Data Loss Prevention, Security Event and Incident Monitoring, Forensics, Information Policy, Network, Cloud, and endpoint security.I worked in the Information Security team at Drexel University as an Information Security Analyst. I am skilled in using Tenable Security Center, Splunk, Shodan, Palo alto, Nmap, Wireshark and have a good understanding of compliance, security technologies, virtualization, networking, policies, and standards. I have experience in Vulnerability scanning, analysis, automating logging and management, third party risk assessments, Data Loss Prevention, incident investigations using security event logs.I was involved in social computing research assisting in the discovery of patterns in errors associated with web programming.Prior to my graduate education, I have interned as a ‘Digital Security Project Intern’ at ‘Indian Institute of Science’, where I worked on developing an encryption algorithm and as ‘Web development Intern’ at ‘L&T Technological Services’, where I worked on developing version management system. I also gained leadership skills while serving as a teaching assistant at Drexel University for three courses. Along with my professional experience, I am striving hard to be a better security professional by involving in student organizations, researching new security issues and online courses. I am passionate to learn new security tools and mechanisms and a motivated fast learner.
