The Women in Business Wire intends to highlight the perspectives and experiences of women on campus and in the professional world to address not only the adversity women face, but also celebrate those who are making strides to close the gender gap. The Wire reports on recent news, as well as culture on campus, that relates to our intended audience. The WIB Wire is entirely student-driven and aims to provide readers the opportunity to think critically about their own experiences, learn from established women in industry, and provoke thoughtful discussion. As an affiliate of the Cal Poly Women in Business Association, the WIB Wire shares experiences about what it means to be young and professional in the modern world, and how those experiences may be different for each and every one of us.
