Customer: Honda R&D North America, Power Sports, Raymond, OH • Designed and Developed control algorithms for steering, braking and throttle control for an electric and internal combustion (IC) All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV). The algorithms were implemented to control the ATV using a Smart Radio Control Technology in real time. • To enhance functionality, control algorithms for other features such as Gear Shift, Key ON/OFF, Emergency stop, Stack lights, etc. were also developed. • Technologies worked with: NI LabVIEW, NI cRIO (Compact Reconfigurable IO modules), NI FPGA, CAN (CANopen), CANalyzer, Roboteq Motor Controller, Curtis and SEVCON motor controller.Customer: Cummins Inc., Columbus, IN • Developed an application in NI LabVIEW to analyze the Engine Control Module (ECM) Ground Noise. • Designed and developed component level diagnostics for natural gas engines in order to detect component failure conditions, including OBD requirement analysis, design, concept, development, modeling, simulation, verification, and validation. • Performed integration and system level verification and validation of OBD and embedded controls using test benches, test cells and on vehicles. • Validated overall engine performance by tuning, calibration, and troubleshooting OBD algorithms for diesel and natural gas engines.
