Kavyaanjali Dance Academy is a dance education institute that offers a variety of different Indian dance forms such as Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Bollywood, and Indian Folk dances, Kavyaanjali Dance Academy strives to spread the culture and art of India and all it has to offer. KDA offers classes to students of varying ages, genders, and dance experiences. In addition to regular training classes, KDA offers commissioned choreography for events and programs, as well as personalized dance advising.

As a digital strategist, I served as the market digital expert for all of iHeartMedia’s digital tactics – SEO, SEM, OTT, Podcasting, Streaming, Targeted Display, Email Marketing and Paid Social. Other responsibilities included:● Pixel attribution/media measurement lead for high-volume markets, specializing in set-up, implementation, reporting, and regulation of measurement solutions and insights.● Lead & constructed digital campaign recaps by analyzing lifetime data, prioritizing data-driven storytelling, and crafting actionable insights and communicating both internally and in client-facing meetings to drive informed decision making.● Oversaw digital strategy for a portfolio of clients ranging in scale from implementation to optimization, dissecting digital RFPs, and crafting media plans based on marketing objectives, asset availability, cost-efficiency, and KPIs.

As a member of the Editorial Strategy Team at HBO Max, I was able to directly work on content strategy and merchandising. Responsibilities included tasks centered around developing creative content strategy while focusing on data and user experience. This was done for a variety of genres, audiences, and content types throughout the platform. I was able to construct content curations directly, optimizing the discoverability of content and user experience. This was strategized according to campaigns, industry trends, and other notable cues. As a part of this task, I was also responsible for planning and designing platform experiences including content and component placement and copy. Other tasks included curating, pitching, and executing creative campaigns for spotlight pages from start to finish and providing research for upcoming campaigns. I also had the opportunity to prepare multiple reports and analyses that were presented to the entire team.

As a film and TV intern at MACRO, I was responsible for a variety of tasks related to the development of new content for MACRO Film and TV Studios. This included evaluating incoming content for quality and production potential through creative analysis and advising on opportunities for improvement while also analyzing business strategy alignment. I was also responsible for providing market and project research as well as pitching content ideas for slated projects. Other tasks pertaining to this position included assessing and understanding company strategy and mandates for content opportunities and flagging industry talent and projects of interest to the team.

After two academic semesters with the company, I was invited to extend my internship at Scripty into a new department. In this role, I worked with colleagues to develop a case study on the current podcast industry landscape, including competitors and unique selling points. I brainstormed around social media content and devised digital-first strategies for building brand awareness. In addition, I researched graphic designers and illustrators that align with the brand's vision and participated in overall branding. This included developing the look and feel of the company by focusing on different fonts, colors, and moods. I also participated in developing the website including input on fonts, colors, and design as well as participated in some back-end work.

I reported directly to the producers on the studio’s first scripted podcast series throughout prep, production, and post. Entitled “Free to Fall”, we recorded remotely to be COVID-compliant with cast and crew participating virtually. My responsibilities included script notes, administrative tasks during the casting process, and giving notes on first drafts of completed episodes.

As a creative development intern, I report directly to the CEO with creative input on current and upcoming projects. Everyday tasks include providing coverage on incoming submissions and tracking podcast releases as well as providing notes on current projects. As a member of the creative development team, I'm also responsible for reporting on industry trends and news and pitching ideas for new projects.
