Kavya Singh is a Visual Design Lead at IDEO San Francisco. A storyteller at heart, she truly believes people and stories are the soul of all good design. Through her work she strives to bring emotion, clarity, movement and simplify complexity to make design a conversation. With a deep interest in visual systems, branding, strategy, typography, illustration and motion graphics, she draws a lot of inspiration from experiences of everyday life and the nuances of different cultures.After gaining industry experience in India, Kavya received an MFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art where she expanded her interests beyond graphic design to critical thinking, design writing and research. Since then she has worked with Champions Design, a branding and design agency in New York. In her personal and professional practice she challenges herself to push boundaries, create narratives that provoke reflection and spread joy through design.
