Experience ProducerBlack Lives Matter Global Network Jan 2019 - Feb 2019Greater Atlanta AreaI had the pleasure of working alongside, Black Lives Matter Global Network co-founder, Patrisse Cullors to produce a pop-up event in Atlanta for Black Futures Month this past February. I was hired as a producer to curate the Atlanta pop-up activation, which required a high attention to detail and organization. This included managing pre-production and planning, designing graphics, managing RSVPs, booking the venue, as well as booking DJs and participating artists. The event was a great success with over 350 RSVPs, and 200+ attendees. Taking place at Elevator Factory - a co-working space in Atlanta made of shipping crates - the event featured an all-women’s panel discussion, highlighted female, non-binary, and queer POC DJs. As well as featuring a photographer and a dance performance artist, the event was alcohol-free, and we served refreshing kombucha all night long. -

I had the privilege of working with the space to transform it from an abandoned warehouse to a culture hub with larger-than-life murals featuring respected graffiti artists from all over the world. In it's first year, 787 Windsor attracted a wide range of diverse clientele from Usher to the largest coffee producer in the nation, and eventually went on to become home of Atlanta's first Afropunk Festival, Red Bull Culture Clash, and many more large-scale activations.
