I worked in the engineering field for a total of four years - from 2017 to 2021. After a year in the industry, I decided to take the PE to confirm my abilities as an engineer and passed in April of 2019, 2 years earlier than the standard. Throughout my time in Nucor, I have designed over 500 structures for both commercial and retail buildings while adhering to engineering codes and standards resulting in over $130K in profit for the company. In 2019, I decided to pursue all my extra time to build an e-commerce business after my full-time job. Through advertising on social media platforms, countless hours of research, collecting and analyzing data, website design, and studying human behavior, I was able to increase ROI by 30%, customer acquisition by 20%, and write over 15 blogs gaining attention of 10,000 views. Looking back, what I enjoyed about my experiences is the learning process, how one must change their perspective to achieve results. The mindsets of an engineer and a business owner are similar in some ways but completely different in other ways.
