At Uncommon Schools, I was a full time 1st grade teacher both remotely, hybrid and in person. I was a lead teacher and in charge of teaching math and guided reading.

At Color Factory, I was in charge of managing the customers experience. Being an interactive museum, it is important to be both engaging and informative so that guests can have the best experience.

Dance to Unite is a non profit organization providing dance after school programs to public schools through out NYC. I planned and conducted activities to provide students with the opportunity to learn, observe and investigate the world. We used Hip- Hop as a vehicle to teach and create positive experiences for children to develop understanding, acceptance, respect and compassion for all cultures culminating in unity for the purpose of future peace.

We enrich the children with a positive environment. We use dance as a vehicle to educate children to respect each other and teach them about cultural diversity.

As a teaching assistant, I helped preschoolers get a head-start on independent participation through a gentle separation process. This was done in a classroom and playground environment. I led activities to help my students explore art, stories, music and play, to help with child development.

In my role as a brand representative, I greeted customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs. I was knowledgeable on current sales, promotions and policies regarding payment , exchanges, and security practices. I opened and closed cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, coupons, and vouchers. I was trained in security and able to recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.

As an Intern I learned how to educate kids on cultures, neighborhoods/communities and helped them use their senses and prior knowledge to define shapes, color, scents and texture they will come in contact with throughout the museum. By taking them on a guided tour, they are able to gain an unforgettable and fun experience while learning.

As an impact I worked in the stock room folding clothes, take care of returns, stock and prepare clothes to bring to the sales floor. I was expected to stay, organized, work efficiently and keep the stock room in check. I made sure merchandise was folded and precise for the customers and for the accessibility of workers who come in the stock room. Impacts are the backbone of the store and keep it functioning.
