I'm Kay Cook, a graduate from University of Alabama in Huntsville. I graduated with a Communication Arts degree with a minor in Photography. I love all aspects of creativity and think bringing creativity to anything is essential. I currently work at Commerce Kitchen where I have the opportunity to come across all kinds of people almost everyday. I recently just finished my internship with Rocket City Broadcasting, working under promotions where I learned what all it takes to keep a radio station up and running. I have a love for music and outside of work, I DJ and I am truly passionate about growing a music scene for the city of Huntsville. My friends and I are working on creating a scene that welcomes POC's and LGBTQ+ while allowing them to truly express themselves in a safe environment while listening to music and having a good time. Over time I truly believe that this can impact a lot of people living in the city and make them feel seen, heard and feel as they have a place. :)
