Kay is passionate about Learning and Development and supporting people in achieving their personal and professional goals. She has served in both the Armed Services and the Police gaining lots of operational and strategic experience. Her strengths are her inter-personal skills and her drive and determination to succeed. She has extensive experience in Senior Management working in the Public Sector. Kay is exceptional at training design, delivery and evaluation both nationally and internationally. Her background in public protection in both the operational and strategic world has led to her leading on keys areas of business such as Child Abuse, CSE, Domestic Abuse, Adults at Risk, Missing Persons, Sexual and Dangerous offender management, Human Trafficking and Multi-agency reviews. Kay is actively involved in safeguarding children and adults in strategic roles as an independent chair and scrutineer. She has also worked with the College of Policing as an associate involved in the design and delivery of specialist investigative programmes and safeguarding processes and procedures in a multi-agency environment. Kay has developed her business and been actively involved in supporting organisations with social prescribing, emotional literacy, Safeguarding in sport and specialist interviewing as an intermediary. Kay is a qualified psychotherapist who has trained for a number of years and actively works with clients using Transactional Analysis in her therapeutic work. Kay also uses this model in training and can adapt this to develop organisational culture and practice. Kay currently works as an independent advisor in several organisation and is well respected for her compassion and professional approach to all she does.
