Responsibilities include: To provide a safe working environment through the proper education in OSHA compliant material, and Craft and Professional training for more than 400 personnel. To continuously communicate and encourage the advancement of employee development utilizing the computer-based Learning Management System, local craft training opportunities, and external resources. To influence the development of Enthusiastic, Highly Effective Employees. Annual completion of OSHA Regulatory training for all employees. Maintain training records for OSHA Regulatory topics, site-specific requirements, staff personnel and craft training. Ensure Client expected training requirements are completed. Ensure the roll-out of new corporate required/regulated training materials. Promote Craft Training enrollment and self-study participation. Promote NCCER Craft Certification through the NCCER’s NCACP process. Develop annual training calendar, provide weekly safety topics and mass meeting training topics. Document all training electronically in Zachry’s database system, Cyborg.

Responsibilities include: management of National Center for Construction and Education Research (NCCER) training records/transcripts, National Craft Assessment and Certification Program (NCACP) as the company’s Coordinator and a Certified Proctor, Construction Maintenance Education Foundation (CMEF) local college registration process for craft training, proctoring and recording the company’s craft validation and turnaround testing. Additional responsibilities include providing remote jobsites with Supervisory training materials, attending select Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and CMEF committee meetings, provide support to jobsites for high school career days, and maintaining training supplies.

Responsibilities included employee relations, compensation and benefits, salary administration, training and development, college recruiting, domestic assignment administration, maintained the assignment tracking system for one department, career ladder maintenance for one department, while also providing interpersonal, communications, and federal law training to internal customer groups. Managed the general human resource functions for Team Refining, a specialized Process Engineering group. Also provided assistance with Employee Services, a walk-in service area where employees receive assistance with HR, benefits, payroll, travel, and employee activity questions. Provided internal customer satisfaction through identified training needs by organizing, arranging, and/or maintaining the training calendar, facility arrangements, room set-up, participant records/reschedules, training workbooks, distribution of class materials, design graphics for workshop overheads. Analyzed participant feedback to assist in developing new training programs through preparing graphic slides and workbooks, aid in research of materials on given subject, and evaluate training materials and/or videos to be utilized. Facilitated training workshops on federal law issues such as Employee Harassment, EEO/AA, FMLA, and ADA and communications/soft skills.
