Watershed Community Development is a community-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that operates affordable artist and artisan work spaces and plans to build a Village of workforce housing and community space in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle. We center folks who live and work in the Duwamish Valley; BIPOC individuals; artists; and those who come from communities that have been, or are at risk of being, displaced from this region

Founded in 2006, the Iron Monkeys are a metalworking collective based in Seattle, Washington. Known primarily for forging heavy industrial steel into intricate, delicate patterns, the Iron Monkeys have progressed from making small, stand-alone steel sculptures into creating large-scale multi-faceted gathering spaces which increasingly incorporate propane fire elements. Their pieces have been on display temporarily at the Burning Man Arts Festival, the Reno Mangrove Project, the Burien Interim Arts Space (B/IAS), Critical Massive, Seacompression, Seattle Burners Without Borders events, and Tacoma's First Night Celebration. Their pieces are permanently on display in Rainier Vista's Central Park in South Seattle, Whitaker Park, in northwest Reno, Nevada, and the backyards of some of their supporters.

The primary purpose of The Burning Man Project is to uphold and manifest the values described in the Ten Principles of Burning Man, specifically: Radical Inclusion, Gifting, Decommodification, Radical Self-reliance, Radical Self-expression, Communal Effort, Civic Responsibility, Leaving No Trace, Participation, and Immediacy. “Burning Man” is understood not as an event, but as referring to a way of life lived consistently with these Ten Principles. The Burning Man Project provides infrastructural tools and frameworks that will allow people to apply the Ten Principles in many communities and spheres of endeavor.

The mission of the Black Rock Arts Foundation is to support and promote community-based interactive art and civic participation. For our purposes, interactive art means art that generates social participation. The process whereby this art is created, the means by which it is displayed and the character of the work itself should inspire immediate actions that connect people to one another in a larger communal context.
