My career started at Australian Customs as a analyst/programmer. At the time that Customs IT was outsourced, I was a Team Leader. Joined EDS who won the tender for Customs IT. Worked for EDS for 2.5 years, then joined PriceWaterhouseCoopers and undertook consulting and audit work. After 2.5 years with PWC, I joined IOCORE (no longer exists) and project managed some Customs projects. After a year I joined Fujitsu (had just bought out DMR). Managed various projects and became project management practice lead for the ACT. After 3 years I joined Unisys to manage the implementation of a biometrics system at Immigration. After 1 year I joined Oakton (formally Acumen) and have been there ever since. I mainly worked at the AFP implementing the Gershon review recommendations in AFP IT, undertaking business analysis on their major program of work, Spectrum and then for 3.5 years project managed their biggest workforce transition project in the Aviation portfolio.
