Philadelphia Regional Manager
Current- Manage Petey Greene Program operations for the greater Philadelphia region, including a growing volunteer base, eight university partnerships, five correctional facility partnerships, five community based youth diversion programs, and 2 Reentry program sites- Liaise with all relevant stakeholders across partners- including justice entities like the District Attorney's Office, correctional facility administrators and educators, university faculty and students, and community based organizations and coalitions- to form productive partnerships and coordinate clearances, tutor schedules, data collection, and overall program improvements - Supervise the Philadelphia regional team, consisting of 1 Divisional Manager and 2 interns - Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers to provide individualized and trauma informed tutoring services to currently incarcerated students at local prisons, jails, and juvenile detention centers, as well as formerly incarcerated and at-risk learners in Diversion and Community Based Reentry settings - Plan and facilitate trainings, debriefs, and public events to educate volunteers and prepare them to tutor in carceral spaces, offering continued support throughout the volunteer experience, and promoting continued involvement in criminal justice reform efforts - Support university-based student leadership groups, directing them in recruitment efforts, volunteer interviews, event-planning and on-campus community-building
