Established and led CEH's community health litigation efforts, in partnership with environmental justice advocates and community-based organizations (CBOs) dedicated to reducing air, water, and soil pollution in California communities. Delivered legal support and tailored technical assistance, encompassing policy advocacy, environmental (air, water, soil) sampling, training, capacity-building, networking, fundraising, and scientific expertise, as per the requests of our CBO partners.

Oversaw community outreach efforts for the 'Same Canoe Local Food Program,' a USDA-funded initiative aimed at encouraging and incentivizing the use of Federal Assistance Benefits/SNAP for purchasing fresh, Hawai'i-grown produce at conventional grocery stores, local CSAs, and farmers' markets. This involved the distribution and management of local food vouchers.

Provided international accompaniment, both physical and political, to Colombian human rights defenders and environmental activists facing threats to their lives and livelihoods, in response to requests for human rights observation.

Co-authored the 2011 Campus Sustainability Report, providing a transparent account of campus progress and challenges in reducing environmental impact, and developed and co-facilitated UC Berkeley’s first staff sustainability training.
