Natural History and Heritage Interpretation: Full day in class lectures and outdoor field studies to learn about the local flora, fauna, ocean, geographical time lapse and geology of our province. To assist in developing interpretation skills and personal presentation styles. Ocean Kayak Instructor: Developing both hard and soft skills of new guides who are seeking to become certified as an Assistant Overnight Guide. The course includes an in depth training around the Vancouver area which is followed by an 8 day excursion out of Tofino which is located off the west coast of Vancouver Island.
