Columbus, Ohio

As the Operations Supervisor at CBRE, I am responsible for overseeing day-to-day office operations for the Columbus Office. I partner closely with local management, Market Leader, Business Operations (P&L), Human Resources, Digital & Technology, Research, Marketing, and Facilities teams to ensure our organization provides a world class experience for our clients and employees.I assure implementation of national operational strategies and coordinate efforts to integrate company services for clients, both internally and externally. I oversee activities related to office services operations including office facilities, supplies, equipment, vendor relationship management, special events, philanthropy, sustainability, and business continuity plans.I manage a wide range of employment activities including recruitment, selection, on-boarding/new hire orientation, performance management, coaching, mentorship and training.I lead a team of Administrative Assistants and Client Services Coordinators (producer support) and oversee the general administrative and marketing tasks of the team to ensure deliverables are complete and resources are deployed where needed. Frequently, I partner with the local Marketing Specialist and regional marketing and communications as needed to ensure effective marketing service delivery, business promotion, advertisement and public relations.I help support local accounting and finance activities including payables, revenue transactions, forecasting and budgeting, in partnership with business operations, division finance and corporate finance. I am also responsible for local P&L oversight.I manage Real Estate and Business licensing processes for the state of Ohio to ensure full compliance with state and local licensing requirements. I serve as the liaison between offices and building management and oversee facilities projects to include ongoing maintenance work, transitions, and new construction projects.

Served as the Operations Manager at Carleton Realty which is the largest independent brokerage by number of agents in Central Ohio. While working at Carleton Realty, I had the opportunity to manage five employees and lead over 200 salespeople. Working for a small business allowed me to be a part of numerous aspects of the business. As a results driven individual, I love to see changes in an organization and know that my hard work played a crucial part in the company’s success. When I started at Carleton Realty, I was the only employee working alongside the owner and his wife. I had an essential role in the company’s significant growth from one employee to eight and 135 salespeople to over 200.As the Operations Manager, I multi-tasked numerous responsibilities such as project management, technology implementation, agent training, recruiting, marketing, CRM maintenance, event coordinating, estate transaction management, and office management. I was responsible for launching BoomTown to the organization. BoomTown is a world-class lead generation, predictive CRM technology, and consumer-facing website that has enhanced the way salespeople are doing business. While launching three technology platforms in a period of six months, my becoming proficient in all admin and user functions was critical in order to successfully provide support to the organization. I have discovered that excellent on-boarding procedures and continuous training are the keys to successful implementation within a company of 200 salespeople.
