In my position as Director of Community Outreach for RVSP, I facilitated support groups for victims and survivors, and hosted a donation drive for the women and children in Arlington's domestic violence shelter. Within that role, I used my position as an opportunity to inform college students of the resources available to them both on and off campus.

As a summer research assistant, I worked on various projects for UTA's department of Curriculum and Instruction and aided a number of professors in both their research and day-to-day tasks. I primarily worked with Dr. Hugh Kellam and Dr. Daniel Robinson to compile a database of Educational Psychology studies conducted within the years 2018-2023.

During my semester as a research assistant for course credit, I worked in Dr. Liegey-Dougall's Health Psychology lab and assisted in data cleaning for the One Week of Life (OWL) study, which measured how social media usage correlates with physical activity.

The RET program is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and works to provide teachers with unique learning opportunities that they can then use to enrich classroom curriculum. This research is aimed to increase the involvement of underrepresented minorities in both.
