As a community relations director, I managed a variety of clients and delivered information to them in a timely manner; directed tours of the community making sure prospective residents felt comfortable and welcomed; and developed new marketing materials to make the sales process more effective and efficient. I also gathered and edited video content for a social media project, “Way Back Whensday”, by interviewing residents on past memories.

My experience with Prenda ranges from simple onboarding tasks to designing ID cards and certificated that were distributed throughout the whole company. As an onboarding assistant, I worked with parents to ensure the success of their students. I effectively used a CRM to organize background checks, fingerprint clearance cards and contracts to ensure new employees were being correctly screened and hired. I also designed and distributed employee ID cards and training certificates to over 300 employees.

As a Marketing & Fan Engagement Team Lead at NAU, I had a variety of responsibilities. I created and developed marketing plans and matrices to aid in the rebranding of the NAU Athletics Department; developed new, innovative designs for social media and game-day activities; created marketing collateral to aid in the rebranding of NAU Athletics; managed several groups of interns while helping them gain skills and knowledge in Photoshop; assisted in all aspects of Game Day: pregame set-up and tear-down, in-game promotions, fan customer service, and running behind-the-scenes equipment; and grew student fan engagement by designing and distributing marketing materials including t-shirts, fliers and social media posts/stories.

I greeted and checked-in arriving guests while providing excellent customer service to ensure positive guest experiences. I maintained clear communication with all other departments on-site. I trained and on-boarded new front desk agents. As a front desk agent, I managed multiple projects each shift. One of my favorite projects was the opportunity to develop and designed a new wedding brochure for vendors to use as a point of reference for pricing.

As an intern for this national digital marketing agency, I helped optimize the design and user-experience for websites, designed Facebook and Instagram ads, and converted blog posts into creative, downloadable PDFs. I worked closely with multiple departments including sales, marketing and account management. At the beginning of the internship, I started with the account management team then moved forward to work with the sales and marketing teams. I had the opportunity to manage several social media accounts for multiple clients. Throughout the course of this internship, I enhanced my graphic design and photography skills.

On the lighting crew at BYU-Idaho, I helped set up and take down lighting sets for different programs and shows that were hosted by the university. I interacted with performers and speakers on a professional level, making sure their vision for the show was coming to life. I worked as part of a team to get the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible.

As a yearbook editor, I managed my own team of staffers. My responsibilities included: teaching the staffers how to write and edit copy, help them meet deadlines, and then proof-read their work. I also designed spreads and layouts, as well as wrote copy and photographed community, school, and sporting events for the spreads. I worked on a team to bring the concept we'd brainstormed to life. We produced an award-winning yearbook that was distributed to over 3,500 students and faculty.
