About Kaycee Rogers

I am a professional teacher educator with a drive to improve public education for all students. I stay current with public policy regarding education and am interested in effective and equitable teaching. I am a program coordinator for the CLASS Program, a teacher licensure pathway in Wisconsin, with CESA 2. I am passionate about teacher education and improving the cohesiveness between the current needs of K-12 students and the preparation of future teachers. My expertise is in ESL and multilingual education, having worked with language learners in a variety of K-12 settings, including international bilingual education, immersion settings, world language, and English Learner programs. I am also a doctoral candidate in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at UW Madison, studying Teacher Education, Multilingual Education, and Rural Education. I am interested in community-based research, knowledge communities, rural teacher agency, and support for rural multilingual learners and their teachers.
