I am a highly motivated and self-driven individual who is currently the Head of Marketing at Evil Geniuses, North America’s premiere esports and entertainment organization.As the Head of Marketing at Evil Geniuses I am privileged to work with a group of incredibly creative, passionate and brilliant marketers. Within my scope sits our Global and Domestic Brand Strategy, Experiential Events and Activations, Content Marketing Strategy, Digital and Social Strategy, Merchandise and Consumer Products, and Brand Partnerships. Additionally I oversee our amateur development program for both future pros and business leaders alike, Genius League. Prior to my time at EG, I spent nine seasons at Major League Baseball in the Brand and Content Marketing department where I oversaw the Brand Content & Visual Innovation team which comprised of 60+ Content Creators who produced content daily for MLB's digital platforms and social channels. Our content also lived across Player Social, Club Social/Digital and throughout our brand campaigns, MLB Original shows and broadcast. The program I built for baseball has since been replicated by the NHL, NFL and Bundesliga. Additionally at MLB I helped oversee MLB's Fan Engagement activations targeting Gen Z with an emphasis on brand storytelling, innovative activations and influencer strategy including launching their inaugural Creator Class and hosting multiple MLB Food Fests in North America and Europe. Before beginning my career I was a student-athlete at Baylor University, lettering four years of NCAA volleyball, one year as captain and an epic Sweet 16 run while studying New Media and Digital Marketing.I am a leader that prides myself on empowering my team, leading by example and setting new standards for the status quo through curiosity. Outside of work I am passionate about mentorship, elevating women in sports, getting outside, spending time with my two dogs and ideating on what could be the next big thing.
