Founded and built a prototype software product called Scope Sift, with Mount Royal’s Institute of Entrepreneurship Tech Lift Off program. In this role I lead the business knowledge, product development, customer discovery and relationship management as well as client and program communications. We operated on a team of 3 with 2 technically talented BCIS students focused on the programming and designing of the product.Scope Sift was an AI tool designed for estimators in construction that could analyze and decipher RFP Scope of Work documents speeding up and optimizing in house communication and bid output and accuracy.By the end of this program I sourced one independent research partner. I got certified as a beginner estimator. I designed branding like typography, logos, ethos and writing style, and oversaw product development through a series of milestones and team sprints. Eventually this lead to us presenting a developed prototype product that could source contradictions in a Scope of Work at our end of program pitch in September.At the end of Tech Lift off we ultimate decided to put the development of scope sift on hold as throughout it’s development new doors opened in terms of outside employment. This experience was invaluable for learning all about tech product development and knowledge and how to find product market fit in a early stage startup.

At Castle Maintenance, I served as the Digital Marketing Lead, where I implemented comprehensive digital marketing including SEO, social media, and digital conversion strategy.

As a returning sales associate with Duer, I was welcomed back with open arms for my previous experience. With my newly acquired skills and further development, I excelled in my sales roles with a higher pay than my previous position. With performance-driven sales, I thrive leading my fellow team by example.

As a door-to-door fundraiser for World Marketing with Save the Children, I developed key sales and communication skills by engaging with diverse communities to raise funds and awareness for various causes. This position sharpened my ability to handle rejection and adapt sales techniques on the fly.

Working in challenging environments as a Tree Planter at Summit Reforestation, I demonstrated resilience and a strong work ethic by planting trees over extensive clear-cut areas. This role required strong physical stamina and demanding mental strength in a piece work pay structure which is paid based on your willingness to succeed. As the ultimate test of work ethic and perseverance, I wear this role as a badge of honour.

As the Founder of Free Range Unicorns, I spearheaded the development of my first ever entrepreneurship project with the help of Launchpad Labs. With the unique concept of building a dating app designed for polyamorous people. I learned the basics of customer discovery, community building, market research; and how to turn a basic idea into an actionable MVP. This project eventually failed but is the reason I found my passion for entrepreneurship and marketing, and my place in the Institute of Entrepreneurship.

As the Camps and Activities Coordinator at Panorama Mountain Resort, I facilitated a wide range of events from outdoor adventures to weddings. I was instrumental in event planning, coordination, and execution, delivering outstanding guest experiences and maintaining high standards of service.

As my first of many tenures as a Sales Associate at Duer, I learned the essentials of customer service and sales. I thrived in a team environment with a fantastic leadership team that supported my development.

As the Summer Camp Leader at Camp Amicus, I led programs specifically designed for children with ADHD. My focus was on creating adaptive activities that fostered social skills, confidence, and inclusivity, ensuring each child felt valued and supported.

In my role as a Birthday Party Leader at Vecova, I orchestrated memorable birthday celebrations tailored to various themes and age groups. I managed some logistics and execution, providing exceptional customer service and creating joyful experiences for children and their families.

As a summer camp counsellor, I took on the responsibility of providing care and safety for a variety of children from diverse backgrounds. I began to learn the foundations of activity programming and client relations and was rehired the following summer.
