Kaye Mitchell has over 30 years of experience in Business Administration and Management; over 20 of those years, she has spent as a successful small business owner and has experience in both the public and private sector. She consults with small business owners on managing growth, business development, and strategic/business/market planning plus implementation. In addition, she engages in public policy advocacy training and assistance in regulatory change.Aside from being an advocate of the small business community, she has volunteered as a counselor with the SBA and developed/taught a variety of workshops over the past 14 years. She currently volunteers some of her time to the Colorado Procurement Technical Assistant Center (PTAC - http://www.coloradoptac.org/). Kaye is a Board Member for Coalition for a Connected West (http://www.connectedwest.org/) , and is an Executive Advisory Board Member for the Institute of Civic Achievement (ICA - www.icainfo.org), a non-profit organization developed to provide small business counseling and training in rural communities. She is a past chair of the Colorado PTAC Advisory Council. Kaye was president of the Pikes Peak Chapter of National Association of Women Business Owners and Colorado Co-Chair of Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) Instant Impact Team.
