Cooloola Fitness Centre is a family-owned and operated gym in the centre of Gympie. The gym is Gympie’s Original Gym having been established in 1982. I have operated this facility with my husband since December 2015. The gym has approximately 200 members who use the facility and houses other services who have clientele throughout the gym (including Masseuse, Chiropractor, and Exercise Physiologist). My role encompasses:• all aspects of the business including Customer Service, Finance and Administration, Stock control, Marketing and Media, Creche and cleaning duties. • effectively communicates with all customers and is the primary point of contact for all incoming and outgoing communication (verbal and written). • co‐ordinates training sessions and scheduling of classes throughout the week. • manages and orders all stock and gym consumables so that there are always products on hand. • liaises with members, their children, staff and other patrons, welcoming them into the facility in a professional and pleasant manner.

I was the Administrative Assistant in the office of the Primary School. I dealt with Staff, Students and parents as well as outside suppliers in my role running the schools Uniform Shop. The role also included: • Reception duties • Banking • Stock Control • Marketing and Media management • Liaising with Staff, Parents, and students and basic First Aid.
