- Conducted various forms of risk and vulnerability assessments at critical infrastructure facilities across New York State, assessing key threats, reviewing facility security plans and/or policies, and identifying gaps in security practices. - Supported the Division's COVID-19 response efforts in various capacities - I supported the logistics enterprise through donations management and inventory control across 11 warehouses, and assessed the State's pandemic plan and re-opening measures.- Created a risk assessment tool composed of federal best practices that minimize physical vulnerabilities. The tool can be used at various types of facilities and can assess security at three different levels of needs or priorities.- Supported the Division’s grant programs by working on intra-agency panels to analyze grants on hate crimes, critical infrastructure security, and cybersecurity support to local governments. For the hate crimes grant, I created a self-assessment tool to guide organizations in identifying their threats and vulnerabilities.- Lead and supported legislatively mandated site visits for the Energy, Chemical, and Transportation sectors, to analyze the State’s counter-terror posture. Visits are supported by research and analysis of the industry's security controls and regulatory compliance.- Led preliminary coordination efforts for the Unit in assisting with security planning for the 2023 Winter Universiade in Lake Placid, New York. Coordination involved threat and vulnerability identification alongside the New York State Police (NYSP) and the Fédération Internationale du Sport Universitaire. - Actively participated in New York State’s first Complex Coordinated Terrorist Attack exercise, on behalf of the Division and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
