Responsible for clinical operations of 20 specialty clinic sites and oversaw 100+ medical assistants and 8 registered nurses. Instrumental in development of policies and procedures, clinical staff trainings and mentoring. Assisted with implementation of new service line programs and procurement of equipment. Develop sterilization procedures for clinic staff when performing instrument reprocessing.

Staff supervision, current and retrospective chart review to achieve appropriate DRG assignment. Review of denial records and assisted in preparation to appeal using several resources such as National Coding Determination (NCDs), Local Coverage Determinations (LCDs), and other clinical resources. Utilize PEPPER Reports to create focus reviews.

Assessment, evaluation and diagnosis of patients, ordering of laboratory tests, prescribing medications, review lab and imaging results, and managing acute and chronic conditions. Advise patients on medical and nursing needs, promoted patient education on disease management and treatment plan. Communicate test results to patients and families, order and administer diagnostic tests, record patient medical histories.
