Kayleigh Killgore was born in Bellevue, Nebraska, but grew up in Wichita, Kansas. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Central Oklahoma's College of Fine Arts and Design, cum laude, with an emphasis in drawing and has minors in illustration and German. The work she creates is inspired directly from endangered animals and international cultures. Working purely in high-detail pen and ink, the images utilize skull silhouettes decorated with patterns from cultures where the animals range. She has been featured in a few small shows in Oklahoma, as well as having work in Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition's 2016 Momentum exhibition. She currently lives and maintains a studio in Edmond, Oklahoma.
