I am a barista at Starbucks. This job is shaping me into a better listener, observer, reacter, teacher, and speaker. I can work in a high-pressure environment while staying calm and connecting with customers. Previously I worked at Dairy Queen and there I learned how to be a responsible employee as it was my first job. In addition, I have work experience for a couple of different family companies. In 2015, I helped my step-mom and Dad around their business, Tea Party Castle. There, I would help wipe down tables, sweep, help little girls pick out their dresses, unwrap picture frames, and do anything else I could help with. At the time, I was ten years old. Since then, I have babysat for my family several times, aged newborn to six years old. I also babysat for a family with two young boys. In 2019, I helped at my dad's company by writing numbers on a part of testers for automotive testing. Since I was young, I have volunteered quite a bit. I previously volunteered serving food to the homeless, making tie blankets, sorting food at the Samaritan House. Currently, I am a nursery volunteer at Lakepointe Church and I have been a small group leader at several churches since 2016. In addition, I was in Girl Scouts from first to fifth grade. In sixth grade, I was the Co-Vice-President of the Builder's Club at Powell Middle School.After sixth grade, I decided to do online school through K-12. In one academic year, I completed the seventh and eighth grades. Therefore, I entered high school at Lutheran High North a year earlier than the rest of my peers. I graduated from Lutheran High School North in 2022. In addition, I took college classes through Macomb Community College while still in high school. Currently, I obtain a 3.9 GPA in both high school and college. I took part in the golf team at my high school from my freshman through junior year and in both my freshman and sophomore years, I earned my varsity letter. I also play the flute and participated in Student Achievement Testing through my private lesson instructor's studio. I am smart, hardworking, motivated, and ready to learn anything.
