• Meet with students one-on-one or in group settings to teach and practice specific coping skills• Address barriers that may prevent students from academic achievement, walk alongside students to support and teach self-advocacy, and teach students how to navigate to appropriate care/resources• Triage student crisis and aim to understand student’s needs in the moment to develop a support plan• Case manage up to 20 students at a time • Documenting case notes to indicate needs and progress• Participate in outreach and training events to promote mental health awareness• Connect students to campus resources that supports their academic success• Support student link to care, navigate community-based mental health services or health services that accept student’s health insurance coverage

• Manage an after school expanded learning program with 12-15 direct report Team Leaders and over 200 students at a Title I elementary school• Conflict management and de-escalation with students and staff• Refer high risk students to counseling services to promote mental health wellness• Communicate regularly with the Coordinator on all issues related to the effective operation of the program and maintain compliance with all school district, SCOE, CDE, and the Center policies, federal, state, local, and accreditation guidelines• Manage programs to guarantee it meets the Center’s, school district, SCOE and CDE goals and objectives including enrollment, retention, completion, placement, instructor qualifications, and family satisfaction• Collaborate with Coordinator to ensure campus meets financial goals including expenses and payroll• Support regular communication with stakeholders to engage them in the after school program and build youth success• Communicate any potential high risk employee/student issues to the Coordinator in a timely manner• Make recommendations of annual plans including fiscal budgets for programs that include professional development, curriculum and expenses to Coordinator• Assist in the identification of employees at his/her campus for future leadership positions at the Center• Submit required and/or requested reports in a timely and accurate manner• Participate in the selection, motivation, and evaluation of qualified and competent academic and other employees• Train new Program Managers, Senior Team Leaders, and Team Leaders• Assure all Human Resources policies are implemented properly and followed consistently• Treat all employees fairly, equitably, and with respect and dignity
