As the owner of Ivy and Kay, I design apparel and gifts to sell on my website, at local markets and on Etsy. We accept custom orders from individuals and corporate accounts to help everyone look their best. In addition to designing and pressing all apparel I manage all inventory, accounting, and business operations. Over the last eight years, I have also been the one to create and market the Ivy and Kay brand on multiple social media platforms. In 2023, Ivy and Kay Creations brought in over $60,000 in revenue, had over 500 orders.

At Blount Fine Foods, I managed the executive office. My tasks often included schedules, visits, travel, meeting agendas, as well as all special projects directed by the executive team. I facilitated and developed employee touchpoints and managed initiatives such as corporate ticket giveaways, employee holiday cards, and other events. I also contributed to project teams related to recruiting, marketing, social media, email, and internal technology as they became the focus of the executive office.

Being a concession stand worker at a MiLB Baseball Stadium involves maintaining a clean work environment, positive attitude for customer service and enhancing the game day experience. I have experience in taking inventory and have been recognized for the highest dollar amount of sales throughout my stand and the entire stadium.

In my position as the BrownConnect Internships Project Manager at the CareerLAB, I managed the BrownConnect LINK and SPRINT Awards, which are funding opportunities for students who are working low paying or unpaid summer internships. The LINK Awards are what I initially came on to manage, but I helped to facilitate the creation of the SPRINT program in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. We received over 2000 applicants for both of these programs, about 250 for the LINK Program and 2000 for the SPRINT Program. I managed the application review process for both programs, with a committee of about 15 reviewers across multiple departments at Brown, educating them on how to review applications for both programs while also creating the reviewing process and forms for the SPRINT Awards. As LINK and SPRINT Awards were given, I managed the budget for student funding. During these projects we adapted the timelines to fit the needs of students and their opportunities

I served as a Student Ambassador for the Brown University CareerLAB (Center for Careers and Life After Brown) during the 2018-2019 academic year as well as the summer of 2019. Along with managing the front desk, I also staffed career fairs and in house workshops. I monitored job postings on the Handshake platform, developed employee training materials, created an event database and updated the website. I assist in maintaining daily marketing and providing day of coordination for events held within our office including on campus interviews, employer presentations and conferences.

Our department was in the process of digitizing all student records within my time of employment. This involved sorting through the files of graduates, maintaining the proper information with the utmost confidentiality and then scanning them into our filing system. In the future, this project will help the to retain less paper copies and become more sustainable.

Over the summer, I served as a liaison for Drica's Favorites Coffee and Food Truck in Lakeland as the business moved toward expansions. I put together a proposal for expansion, sales projections, and cohesive resources to present to lenders.

During my summer at the Institute for Molecular and Nanoscale Innovation, I crafted marketing, instructional, and informational materials for the department, which will be added to the state of the art facilities to help not only users of the facilities but visitors alike. I also aided in the planning and execution of the Brian Lawn Materials Symposium which took place in July 2018. Finally, I completed administrative tasks, organized the website, and developed an online application for the Core Facilities, which will allow a streamlined process for the beginning of the school year.

As a helpdesk intern, I was a member of a customer service team assisting hospitals in the Epic Software transition around the clock. I received calls and quickly turned them in to service tickets to make sure that every need is documented.
